About this helper

This helper asks an external IP lookup service from your browser so it can show the public address visible to websites. Heavens Help does not send the IP address in telemetry, but the lookup service necessarily sees the request in order to answer it.

Why does this tool use an external service?

A browser cannot know its public internet address by itself, so it must ask an IP lookup endpoint.

Is my IP address sent to Heavens Help telemetry?

No. Tool telemetry records only aggregate actions such as using or copying, not the IP address.

Why might this IP differ from my device IP?

Routers, VPNs, mobile networks, proxies, and carrier NAT can make the public IP differ from your local device address.
